Recently, I had the privilege of working with some talented artists on a photo collab.

We paired a subtle glittery French Connection strapless dress with a flowly Parisian silk  skirt + almost black Rampage combat boots. To add texture and variety, we added layers with a dark purple velvet J Crew jacket and jean jacket.

The dress can be worn simply or in combination with other pieces. I love starting with a simple yet stylish piece, and adding other colors and textures in you wouldn’t necessarily expect. Intentional eclection.

For the hair and makeup, Ryann curated a thoughtfully fun meets glamour bold look for going out, a fashion event or just plain #babealert. IF ONLY every day could start off this way! I lament. I’m always impressed with her thoughtfulness and creativity. Amy, our amazing photographer, worked with our vision and we created both stylishly urban looks. You will see Amy used natural light and city backgrounds to create the look we were going for. A few things I adore for shoots are natural light, inspired vibes and minimal editing. In this case, inspired vibes means the energy your team feeds off from each other.  I spent wayyy too much time agonizing over which photo to use, but what else is new, but finally fell into the perfect group for this post. Anyone else over hyper obsess over their flaws until you freeze from moving forward? Gulp. Guilty! I would like to invite you and myself to embrace the unique things that make you, y o u.
