Meet Sade Anthony from SadeSews:
Can you describe your brand in 3-5 words?
Vibrant, bold, fearless – made to wear for the confident women!
How did you get into designing? 
I ALWAYS LOVED FASHION! Growing up I loved giving makeovers and watching make over shows. Just seeing women able to smile when they looked in the mirror made me want to be in the style business. It wasn’t until I was 17 when I turned on the sewing machine and never turned it off!
What inspires you?
I’m expired by everything! Growing up in New Jersey, I was exposed to so much. I saw the classy business women on the subway on her way to work in the city and the bright colored graffiti on the side of a building. I was exposed to so much style, it inspired me to always want to create what I saw!
How has your career impacted your life personally?
The biggest way has been me expressing myself through my designs. It feels good to have a vision and actually bring it to life! I get to express my true self! Fashion has made me more confident as a person!
What’s your favorite new look you are featuring at the LAYERS Fashion Show show?
My favorite look has to be the Vibrant Beauty Top. I also will be featuring the vibrant Beauty Dress. The collection is so bold, so you will stand out for sure! I honestly love everything!
What’s a fun silly fact about you that you’d like to share?
I don’t really have anything silly, but a fun fact is that I’m self taught designer. I had to learn through trial and error! I am still learning things ,but I just want to show the next designer that you don’t need to have all the resources. You just have to be willing to practice and work hard. Your dream will find a way for you!
What advice would you give to aspiring 
designers/creatives/entrepreneurs?
Never give up! Your dreams are worth it! Some days you will feel like quitting, push through! So what if no one buys everything you put out, keep creating! You will feel unmotivated sometimes, push yourself! Most of all, you must believe in yourself and Trust God!
